A 16-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a police car on its way to an incident in east London.
Paramedics scrambled to the scene in Bow Road, Bow, at around 1pm today following reports a police car had collided with a female pedestrian.
Metropolitan Police confirmed the marked car involved in the crash had been on its way to an incident.
The girl was later taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service who are waiting for an update on her condition.

The officers involved in the incident were not injured and the police watchdog has been informed.
A spokesperson for Met Police told MailOnline: ‘At about 12:55hrs on Monday, 16 September, a marked police vehicle was involved in a collision with a female pedestrian in Bow Road, Bow.
‘The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called and the female – aged 16 – was assessed by paramedics at the scene. She was taken to hospital by LAS for further assessment and we await an update on her condition.
‘The officers in the police vehicle were not injured. The road remains closed while an investigation is carried out.
‘At the time of the collision, the police vehicle was on the way to an incident.
‘The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.’
