M&S has sensationally axed an ‘all time favourite’ Percy Pig sweet that customers loved.
The Percy Pig line has become a favourite all over the UK, and Percy Pig Phizzy Chews were seen by a fan favourite before the decision was made to halt production earlier this year.
They were launched in 2020 and customers reportedly loved them, with one saying: “You have outdone yourself with these Percy Phizzy Chews!! Where can I buy a box?”

Another added: “Discovering M&S Percy Pig Phizzy Chews for the first time was like discovering fire. How have I lived without these for so long?? I feel like I need a lifetime supply… “

And a third raved: “I have tested many sweets and candies from around the globe for many years and these are quite incredible. There isn’t another texture like it.
“They must remain in production for the rest of eternity!”
However, they will all be devastated to learn the sweets are no more. But, things could have been worse.
There were concerns that the main Percy Pig product could be under threat due to post-Brexit regulations. M&S boss Steve Rowe warned at the time that despite the free trade agreement with the EU, new rules could impact shipments of the pig-shaped sweets between Ireland, the Czech Republic and France.
Talking about the issue, Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove said that although there could be initial disruption, which “will get worse before it gets better”, things will improve after time.
And, alas, we still have Percy Pigs. Soon after, one Marks and Spencer shopper got the shock of a lifetime as they tucked into their packet of them recently – and couldn’t resist sharing their find online.
Taking to Reddit, a user named Thereader123 posted a picture of one rather rude Percy Pig.
The pig’s dark pink ear had somehow spread to the majority of it’s face, and just so happened to be in the shape of a penis.
The stunned sweet lover simply captioned the photo: “Must’ve picked up the x-rated Percy pigs.”
