Oasis reunion tickets have topped a list of the most popular presents given to mistresses.
Concert passes worth thousands of pounds are more popular than presents of jewellery, booze and city breaks when it comes to gifting our secret lovers, the study from married people’s dating site IllicitEncounters found.
Highly prized tickets to see Britpop legends Oasis in concert next summer are the number one desire for the secret sex partners of men and women across the county.

One man from Leeds, who took part in the research, said: “There’s no way I could miss out on the Oasis reunion gigs – and neither could my mistress. She’s always been a huge fan of Oasis, and when I heard the reunion might actually happen, I had to get her tickets.
“It’s a no-brainer – I spent about £3,000, but it’s worth every penny for a chance like this. And I’m sure I’ll get my payback at the fancy hotel I’ve booked for us after the concert at Heaton Park.”
The scramble for Oasis tickets has created a sharp uptick in average spending on mistresses, according to IllicitEncounters.
Some men said they had splashed £2,000 to £5,000 per ticket to secure a spot at the 2025 Oasis gigs. On average, men said they were spending £500 per gift for their mistresses.

Jessica Leoni, relationship expert, said: “Oasis represents rebellion, nostalgia, and a certain kind of romance. It’s clear that the emotional connection in these affairs is growing deeper, and men are willing to spend significantly more to maintain and strengthen that bond.
“It’s not just about sex anymore; it’s about shared experiences and making the other person feel truly special. In the past, gifts like flowers and jewellery were enough to keep things exciting, but today’s mistresses expect more – and men are rising to the occasion.
“Concerts, luxurious trips, and personalised experiences are becoming the new norm. The Oasis reunion tickets perfectly encapsulate that shift in gifting culture.”
