Dancer Katya Jones believes Strictly should be about the viewers’ enjoyment and not about the pro’s winning the show with their celeb partner.
The professional was crowned Strictly champion back in 2017 along with actor Joe McFadden.
But she denied winning the Glitterball Trophy for a second time was her motivation for taking part in the scandal hit show.

Katya, who joined Strictly back in 2016, said: “It is not about Wynne, it’s not about me, it’s way beyond that. It’s about the show and all the fans who get such pleasure from watching it.
“It’s not really a dance competition, it is an entertainment show with dance at its heart.
“There are so many other more important aspects that you bring to the show, the personalities, the relationships that you create are all more important than the dancing.”
Katya, 35, is partnered with singing ‘Go Compare Man’ Wynne Evans this year.
She added: “I have an eight-pack now thanks to all the laughing. We are having so much fun.
“I believe anyone can learn to dance and I think that a lot of people will be surprised by Wynne.”
