What Liam Gallagher might earn at Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois

Liam Gallagher is set to perform at the Anthony Joshua fight, which will secure him a huge payday.

As the Oasis reunion tour looms, it’s been suggested that both Liam and Noel Gallagher could be £50 million richer by the end of it. So, it’s no surprise that 52-year-old Liam has added a hefty sum to his already bulging bank account after landing a solo gig before the highly anticipated bout between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

The Oasis lead singer will entertain a crowd of 96,000 at Wembley Stadium before the British heavyweight boxers duke it out for the title. Liam recently confirmed that his set list will feature some of the band’s iconic hits, including Rock n’ Roll Star, Supersonic, and Cigarettes and Alcohol. However, the exact amount Liam will earn from the gig remains undisclosed.

Adding to the excitement of his performance later today [September 21], one fan asked on X: “96k people, you excited? “To which Liam cheekily replied: “Yeah it’s a little on the small side but I’ll manage,” reports the Mirror.

Having previously performed to a whopping 500,000 over two shows at Knebworth in 1996, Liam is no stranger to large audiences. There were whispers of event organiser Turki Alalshikh trying to convince Noel into performing alongside his brother – potentially sparking the reunion set.

Speaking about his efforts to get Noel involved, Turki said: “It will be something amazing if we get them together.”

He added: “We will try. Why not?”

In an epic twist to their rock ‘n’ roll saga, Oasis have shut down the wild rumours that had fans buzzing. Despite a whirlwind of excitement around their big comeback with the much-anticipated 17-date UK and Ireland tour, and nostalgia-fueled memories of their iconic 1996 Knebworth gig, the band made it clear they aren’t planning a reprise.

They explained social media: “Contrary to reports in some UK tabloid media today, Oasis will not be playing Knebworth Park in the future. There are no plans for any further UK dates beyond the currently announced UK stadium tour.”

Now, after chaos around ticket sales pumped up prices to eye-watering levels, there’s another shot for fans; two extra London gigs are locked in at Wembley Stadium come September, and whispers say private ballot results will hit inboxes by this Friday [September 13] at 9pm. But the ticket fiasco hasn’t waltzed away scot-free; it’s caught the eye of the competition watchdog, with probes into why prices skyrocketed from £148 to a jaw-dropping £355 via Ticketmaster.
