Facebook users found this side-splitting, propelling the post to rack up hundreds of likes and shares.

Some couldn’t help but comment, “This is why I love Hartlepool.”

Another chimed in: “Honest as chips, I love it,” while a separate admirer declared: “Class!”

Several pledged to borrow the line for their future orders to forewarn their own couriers about their barking pups.

Other delivery drivers began sharing their tales of quirky delivery demands.

One recounted an order that requested: “Extra lettuce, mayo and sauce in the wrap please.”

Followed by the demand to “Make it chunky as out.”

Turns out, some customers are using the special instructions field to set up pranks for drivers.

Lynn Staffieri experienced confusion when her courier knocked and promptly sprinted away her son had slyly typed in a note instructing the driver to “Knock on the door 3 times and scream abracadabra as loud as you can and run super fast away.”
