Haaland ‘steamrollered’ Arsenal star after throwing ball at Gabriel’s head

Erling Haaland “steamrolled” Thomas Partey just moments after throwing the ball at Gabriel’s head.

Haaland, 24, became a centurion on Sunday afternoon as he fired Manchester City ahead against Arsenal – netting his 100th goal for this club. However, the Gunners grew into the game, scoring twice before Michael Oliver blew his half-time whistle.

Arsenal, by this point, were down to ten men and City were pilling on the pressure. The Gunners held firm, but under the weight of City’s attack, they cracked – John Stones bundled the ball home to level the game.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Haaland, as Stones wheeled off to celebrate, launching the ball at Gabriel’s head.

And Haaland didn’t stop there, from kick-off he charged straight into Thomas Partey. One fan, sharing the clip on social media, said: “Creasing at Haaland demolishing Partey from kick-off in the 98th minute after City equalised. Bully!”

Erling Haaland “steamrolled” through Thomas Partey

“Haaland threw the ball at Gabriel and then did this. Then went after a 17-year-old at full time. His head was on Mars,” an Arsenal fan pointed out. While a third replied: “Partey moved into an oncoming player’s pathway and got owned. If anything, he should be called for obstruction…”

“Why is Partey sizing him up like a Rugby defender of course he was gonna get clarted,” a fourth joked. And another added: “Haaland is a pathetic bully just like the rest of that City team and it’s very telling by their reactions to each game against us!”

While a fifth shared: “Haaland is a legend for this!”

Erling Haaland escaped a booking

After the game, Sky Sports cameras caught Haaland taunting Arteta before calling Jesus, a former City player, a “f***ing clown.”

“Stay humble eh, stay humble eh,” Haaland told the former City assistant manager, patting the Spaniard on the back after the game. Arteta proceeded to give Haaland a stern stare after the interaction, only for Jesus to get involved.

“Come, come why you saying you talking,” the Brazilian told Haaland squaring up to the City striker. Haaland replied: “Talking about what, I wasn’t talking f***ing clown.”
