National Lottery lists 5 places of unclaimed tens of millions – time is ticking

Brits are being urged to check their lottery tickets as four £1million National Lottery prizes remain unclaimed.

According to National Lottery rules, players have six months from the date of the draw to claim their winnings. But four £1million winners have failed to do so – with a fifth price of £350k on Lotto HotPicks also remaining unclaimed.

The new lottery unclaimed prizes lists shows that the first jackpot to run out was from the April 16 EuroMillions draw, with the ticket being bought in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

The winnings numbers were picked on May 25, and were 6, 28, 30, 40, 53, 58 – that winner has until November 21 to claim their winnings. The £1million prize running out on February 2 was purchased in Cardiff as part of the UK Millionaire Maker draw on August 16. The specific winning code has not been confirmed, but there are 10 to choose from on the website.

Failing to collect their winning £1million Lotto prize on the Match 5 and Bonus game from August 31 is someone from the London Borough of Bromley. They have until February 27 to claim, as long as they chose the winning numbers 2, 3, 29, 45, 48, 52 and Bonus 54.

Lastly, the September 3 EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker £1million draw saw someone who bought a ticket in the London Borough of Lambeth pick up a winning ticket. The winning code was MMVJ92833, and they have until March 3 to collect their winnings.

Any unclaimed prizes and “interest earned on it” will end up going towards National Lottery Projects across the UK.
