Coldplay fans are fuming after a presale on Ticketmaster’s website for the band’s latest tour went horribly wrong.
The much-awaited Coldplay presale was set to kick off earlier this morning while general sale tickets are ready to roll out at 10am tomorrow (September 27), but for some, Ticketmaster seems to be playing hide and seek with presale details.
Fretting fans flocked to X/Twitter voicing their woes, with one perplexed punter posting: “Can you tell me why the Ticketmaster website isn’t showing presale option when clicking on the presale code link? Assume it will be updated in time for the rush of tickets?”

Echoes of the same snag were shared by others, with tweets like: “Same problem here.” and “I keep reloading but nothing happens I’m getting worried.” Yet not all hope is lost, a savvy fan reassured that at 9am it would appear.
They said: “They have confirmed that the link currently points to the general sale link, but at 9am that link being accessed will update to point towards presale.”, reports the Mirror.
Coldplay fans who pre-ordered the band’s new album, Moon Music, from the UK or EU Stores were automatically entered into a presale. The deadline for this was 11.59pm on Tuesday, September 24. Those who purchased the album before the announcement were informed that they had automatically qualified for the presale.
Successful applicants should have received an email by now containing a code to use on the Ticketmaster website. According to the Coldplay website: “You will be emailed with a link to the ticket provider and an early access code from 5pm BST on Wednesday, 25th September.
“The presale will take place on Thursday, September 26 at 9am BST. Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis to those with access codes, and we expect demand to be high. Please note that having an access code does not guarantee a ticket. You MUST have a Ticketmaster account using [the email address used to sign up for presale] and be signed in to access the presale.”
