Swingers to take over UK metropolis as ‘Great Throbbing Hood Hunt’ kicks off

British swingers are gearing up for a Robin Hood-themed treasure hunt in Nottingham, the legendary outlaw’s home city.

The event, dubbed “The Great Throbbing Hood Hunt”, will be followed by a steamy celebration near Sherwood Forest. Early bird tickets for eager swingers are priced at £40 to secure their spots, while standard tickets will set couples back up to £10 and single participants can join for as little as £5.

Participants are encouraged to don Robin Hood-inspired attire for the hunt, with more reserved attendees opting for casual wear.

Post-hunt, the swingers will reconvene for a risque social before heading out for a club night. The event is scheduled for 5 October from 4pm, according to What’s The Jam.

The Purple Mamba Club, a members-only swingers club, will kickstart the party at 9pm following the day’s activities. The evening’s dress code is smart clubwear or more daring Throbbing Hood inspired costumes.

The club announced: “Join forces with other members to hunt for clues to discover Throbbing Hood’s secret treasure across Nottingham from 4pm. Which teams will win? Race across Nottingham to solve clues before re-grouping for a lively social from 7pm followed by a memorable club night from 9pm.

“A great fun social followed by a club night with live music from the amazing Pancake Boy and Misshapen.”
