Britain’s youth on bonkers cause they’re unable to make thier beds

Lazy Gen Z-ers can’t be bothered to make their beds because it’s too difficult to put the duvet cover on.

Others said making the sheet fit properly without getting it all wrinkled was impossible as the edges kept “pinging off”, said a study.

And some even said the pillows never seemed to be “fluffed up” enough. IT student Adam Earnshaw, 21, of Stockport, said: “When I’m at home my mum makes my bed, and when I’m at uni I just don’t bother.

“I tried it a couple of times but the sheet kept pinging back at me.

“And I genuinely found it impossible to get the duvet into the corners of the cover.”

A poll of 2,000 Brits found 9% of those aged 18-26 said they found making their bed “too difficult”.

The study by AC Hotel Marriott Glasgow also found 57% of the Gen Zers reckoned they didn’t make their bed every day.

Of those, 10% said they made their bed just once a week – and incredibly, 3% said they only bothered making their bed once a month.
