Monster responsible of raping NHS employee mum ‘time and again till she died’

A man has been found guilty of the rape and manslaughter of a mum who worked for the NHS.

Natalie Shotter, 37, was passed out in Southall Park, west London, after a night out, when she was pounced on by monster Mohamed Iidow.

The sexual predator, 35, was found guilty at the Old Bailey today (October 18) where jurors learned of his previous conviction for sexual activity by seeking to groom young people online.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC spoke during the trial about how Ms Shotter died of a heart attack caused from being raped “again and again”. CCTV footage showed the mum sitting on a bench with a man before a defendant walked past and looked.

She said: “What was the defendant doing there, what was he seeking to do, walking up and down the paths in the middle of the night and thinking about what his objectives must have been – seeking out a vulnerable woman to rape.”

The monster left the park and drove away before returning where he “nonchalantly” approached his victim who was “deeply unconscious”.

Shocking footage showed him moving her body in different positions while he raped her. He then returned to his home in Hounslow, west London, after stopping to buy cat food and mouthwash at a garage.

Ms Shotter was found dead by a passer-by in the early morning of July 17, 2021.

Speaking to jurors, Ms Morgan said: “The prosecution’s case is that Natalie died as a result of what was done to her by this defendant. She was not dead at the time when the defendant was orally raping her, it will be a matter for you to consider – that this defendant went to the park for a reason.

“He would not have sought to have sex with a dead body for over 15 minutes, he was having sex with someone he knew was alive but was deeply unconscious and therefore he was raping her.”

Iidow denied the charges but refused to give evidence – he will now be remanded in custody before his sentencing on December 12.
