A former football prodigy who Cristiano Ronaldo once claimed was even better than him is now romping in adult movies.
Fabio Paim, who kicked off his career with Sporting CP and reminisced about playing alongside Manchester United legend Ronaldo in the club’s youth ranks, also represented Portugal’s Under-21s. He also had a brief spell on loan at Chelsea in 2008, although he only played for the reserve team.
After a whirlwind journey through lesser-known leagues in Luxembourg, Malta, and Qatar, the ex-winger found himself briefly behind bars on cocaine trafficking charges, before being cleared. And now he’s aiming to score in the adult entertainment industry.
A steamy snippet recently unveiled online features one of his stunning co-stars praising the 36-year-old’s prowess, branding him a “lion in bed,” reports the Mirror.
“We thought he was going to be nervous and it wouldn’t work out – but Fabio turned out to be a lion,” Diana Melancia, Paim’s adult co-star said. “He was good at football and he is good at porn. He’s going to be a success. I hope this film is the first of many with Paim.”
Paim meanwhile clearly enjoyed his new job. He said: ‘It’s difficult being in front of the cameras but I did it and I think I have got talent for this. I got a lot of pleasure and made two dreams come true, making the film and being with two spectacular women.”
Paim has previously told how he was “better than Cristiano”, but didn’t work as hard as his fellow winger and was distracted by money, women and drugs. He said: “I started earning lots of money and had fame way earlier. That led me to a different path, that’s why I’m not among them and I don’t deserve it.
“I was born with talent. As I was earning lots of money, I got the illusion I didn’t need the effort. When I was 13, my monthly wage was €19,000 plus a €150,000 bonus per year. It was always going up. It was too fast.”
Paim revealed how he would naively blow his earnings on cars and partying. He added: “I bought all kinds of cars. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, Audis because it was my dream as a child and I had no one telling me it wasn’t right. The worst investment you can make is cars. But my head couldn’t think that way and no one taught me better.
“I started drinking when I was 18 or 19 then started going to parties. It became a routine, more partying, more and more things. I got to know a different lifestyle. As a footballer, I performed the same. I was scoring, playing well in games but after that, I was partying and making bad decisions.”
Reflecting on his football days on a Portuguese podcast last year, Paim mused: “Cristiano Ronaldo should offer me one of his Ballon d’Ors. I went to Sporting when I was seven years old, I grew up there.
“They were years of glory in which I won everything I could. I didn’t reach where I could have reached, but I marked a generation. If people don’t forget it’s because I marked them.”
“I said when I was happy that I thought Cristiano Ronaldo could offer me a Ballon d’Or. But it was with humility. If I had half of Cristiano’s head, it wouldn’t be him and Messi.”
“It would be me, him and Messi and maybe he wouldn’t have won the Ballon d’Ors that he has. Maybe one of them was mine.”
Upon hearing Paim’s audacious claims, Ronaldo jokingly took to Instagram to respond with: “Wtf. Who is this guy?”
But clearly, the Al-Nassr star does remember his old team-mate. Back in 2003 when he joined United for £12.5million, Ronaldo said: “If you think I’m good, wait until you see Fabio Paim.”
