Portsmouth’s gamers get caught in a carry and ‘ration water’ after beating QPR

Portsmouth’s stars were stuck in a lift after their victory over QPR on Saturday.

Freddie Potts and Callum Lang struck gold for Pompey, but they were among ten players stuck between floors after the full-time whistle. Defender Tom McIntyre revealed their plight on social media – sharing posts on Instagram.

In the short clip, Portsmouth players could be seen huddled inside the lift as they forced open the door, only to be met with a wall. The camera then pans to show Owen Moxon sipping from his water bottle.

Match-winner Lang cant then be heard telling Moxon to stop drinking, hilariously telling him: “Actually save the water just in case.”

It was only after making it out of the lift, McIntryre shared the video on social media, captioning the video: “Need to get stuck in the lift every week.” Lang then reposted the video on his social media accounts, adding: “Save that water lads,” with a brain emoji.

“We still would’ve lost even if they didn’t get out,” one QPR fan sighed. While a second said: “‘Be careful Jordan’ like he’s gonna slip down the gap in the lift…”

“He’s s***ting it Callum Lang,” a third joked. As a fourth shared: “Need to do that more often based on their result yesterday!”

“The up’s and down’s of the Championship,” another added.

Pompey are back in action on Tuesday night as they visit Cardiff, who are one place above them in 22nd on goal difference – Saturday was Portsmouth’s first win in the second division for over 4,000 days following their well-documented fall from grace.
