Tesco offers 861 shops enormous makeover giving Brits game-changing Christmas enhance

Tesco stores in their hundreds have undergone a major transformation. The Entertainer, a UK toy retailer, has launched toy concessions in a whopping 861 Tesco supermarket branches in time for Christmas, according to Retail Gazette.

More than 4.5 million toys from beloved brands such as Disney, LEGO, Marvel, Star Wars, Spiderman, Peppa Pig and CoComelon have been delivered to Tesco stores as part of The Entertainer’s ‘significant expansion’ project. Andrew Murphy OBE, The Entertainer Group CEO, reportedly said that this move has put “90% of the UK’s shoppers” within reach of its “unmatched toy offer”.

He said: “Over the past eight months, we have successfully rolled out The Entertainer Toy Shop across more than 850 Tesco stores and I couldn’t be prouder of our teams and the great work they’ve done.

“Just as importantly, we’re all hugely appreciative of the support we’ve had from colleagues across Tesco throughout the year.”

“The speed and impact of this growth is a testament to our team’s agility, attention to detail and a deep understanding of customer needs. “Our partnership with Tesco is the biggest and most important step we’ve taken in expanding our unique ‘Toy Box’ retail solution for multi-category retailers, but we look forward to on-boarding further retail partners, at home and abroad, in the coming months.”

The full list of stores has not been made public, although there are more than 3,000 branches across the UK. It was announced earlier this year that The Entertainer concessions would eventually be appearing inside all current Tesco branches at some point, but it appears as though that expansion has ramped up ahead of the Christmas shopping period.
