The body of missing mum Victoria Taylor has tragically been found, police have confirmed.
Victoria had gone missing in Malton on September 30 and sparked a huge police search. Assistant Chief Constable Wayne Fox said a body has now been found close to the River Derwent.
He said: “Today we’ve recovered a body in the search for missing 34 year old Victoria Taylor. The police underwater search team made the discover at approximately 11.45 am this morning.”
Assistant Chief Constable Wayne Fox added the body was found “close to where Ms Taylor’s belongings were recovered”. He stated formal identification has not yet taken place, but Victoria’s family have been informed of the development.
