An adult content creator has narrowly escaped a prison sentence after blackmailing a married man. Bethan Guy demanded hundreds of pounds from a subscriber who had signed up to view her adult content, threatening to expose him to his wife if he didn’t comply.
The victim, who was left in significant distress fearing the loss of his family, initially paid out £450 when the 29-year-old made her demands. However, when asked for more money, he reported the incident to the police.

An anonymity order was issued at Swindon Crown Court to protect the identity of the victim. Guy, from Swindon, Wiltshire, was arrested and charged with blackmail, to which she pleaded guilty in December 2023 – a crime that can carry a prison sentence of up to 14 years.
Judge Jason Taylor deferred Guy’s sentencing until August at Swindon Crown Court in February, under the conditions that she does not commit further offences and maintains her employment or seeks new employment if necessary. Despite awaiting sentencing, Guy continued to promote her OnlyFans profile, featuring explicit photos and videos, on social media.
Due to court delays, she wasn’t sentenced until last week, October 15, when Judge Taylor handed down a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years. Guy was also ordered to complete 225 hours of unpaid community work.
She’s also been ordered to undergo 12 sessions of mental health treatment and complete 15 rehabilitation activity days with the probation service. Furthermore, she must pay back £450 in compensation to the victim at a rate of £50 per month.
In a candid Instagram post in July, before her initial sentencing date, Guy referred to her crime as “a mistake and stupidity”. She added: “If I could go back to the moment it happened I would because it honestly was just a mistake but this small mistake has now cost me so much pain and dread I can’t even explain. If I could give anyone advice it’ll be don’t think you’re untouchable because something will catch up one day.”
