Groom caught rushing on wedding ceremony day – in uninsured £200,000 lime inexperienced Lamborghini

A driver caught speeding in an uninsured Lamborghini begged police to let him go because it was his wedding day.

Police caught the newlywed in the £200,000 lime green Lambo after receiving four reports of the car speeding. Road traffic officers stopped the vehicle in Bury, Greater Manchester.

After the cops ran checks, the thrill seeker soon revealed that he had no insurance on the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder. The man then tried to use his upcoming nuptials to plead with officers to spare him punishment.

“Had no confetti on hand, so we improvised and threw six points at the would be groom instead. Car seized.”

The groom may not be the only driver being slapped with driving license points in the near future. As reported by the Daily Star, millions of UK road-users may be charged a £200 fine and receive points on their license next week for neglecting to complete a crucial task.

Bizarre advice

With the clocks going back this weekend, drivers’ must alter the time displayed in their car to remove the threat posed by using handheld devices, such as phones, to check the time. A spokesperson for Group 1 Automotive stated: “Ensuring the time in your car is correct is a small but important task that can have a huge impact on the way we drive.

“Having the correct time displayed on your car clock can contribute to better punctuality and a stress-free environment, and as the nights become darker, and more people drive during these hours, it’s so crucial to ensure full safety.”

“In most cases, the time can be changed via the car ‘settings’ button on the dashboard, where you can find options to access the date and time settings. If you don’t know how to do this, or can’t find this option, consult the manufacturers’ guide, and this should provide easy to follow steps on how to do this.”,

Group 1 automotive warned that drivers will face six penalty points and a £200 fine for using a hand-held phone whilst driving.
