Man’s physique present in nature reserve as cops examine ‘unexplained’ loss of life

The body of a man has been found in a nature reserve as police investigate the ‘unexplained’ death.

The man, thought to be in his 30s, was found near Compiegne Way in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on Sunday afternoon (October 27).

Police were called to the scene at around 4.40pm and attended alongside paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service and firefighters from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service. Police are currently treating the death as unexplained but do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.

The man’s body has not yet been formally identified however his next of kin have been informed, Suffolk Police said.

A police spokesperson added: “A file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course”.
