‘Ruben Amorim is just good on paper for Man Utd’, warns psychic who’s discovered ‘splendid boss’

It’s kicked off in the world of football in the last 24 hours. And by that we mean the whole palaver with Erik ten Hag getting the boot as Manchester United manager.

For the Dutch boss, it was not written in the stars to successfully lead the once iconic football side. However, a psychic has revealed that the team can pull it back from their ‘flop’ era – but they of course need the right manager to do so.

While Manchester United heads are reportedly ‘in talks’ with Portuguese Ruben Amorim, it looks like he might not be the right selection, according to the crystal ball.

Well, we’ve had a chat with celebrity astrologist Inbaal Honigman to see what she sees nine potential candidates – and it doesn’t look good for Amorim or ex-England boss Gareth Southgate.

So, who does the Tarot think is best for the coveted postion? Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, celebrity astrologist Inbaal Honigman revealed…

Ruben Amorim

The Tarot sees Amorim as an imperfect manager for Manchester United, despite being fabulous on paper.

The 9 of Wands Tarot card says that the Portuguese manager has displayed strength as a manager, and is a powerful leader, while the 10 of Cups Tarot card sees him as empathic, showing that knows when to put the pressure on his team, and when to lay off.

However, the 5 of Swords Tarot card says that his personal style is very different to the team’s winning techniques. It means that Amorim’s style would be more tactical, whereas Man U’s signature playing style would be to just press ahead and keep running. The fans will feel as if he’s blocking opportunities, and could turn against him.

Ruud van Nistelrooy

The 9 of Pentacles Tarot card shows a great bond between the man, the legend, and the team.

If he were picked, he’d be a valuable asset and bring a lot of glory to the three-times Champions League winners.

Gareth Southgate

The explosive Tower card is the Tarot’s way of saying nope!

Southgate may have a lot to offer as a manager, but Manchester United is not the right address. As manager, he would be too intense and focused, concentrating on each specific win rather than planning for the whole length of the season.

Thomas Frank

The Ace of Swords is the Tarot card that says Frank would be a good manager for Man Utd, but not at the moment.

He’s got a lot of knowledge and intelligence that suit the Reds, but there are some undercover conversations between himself and another team. In the future, there’s every chance that he moves to Manchester.

Xavi

The Prince of Cups Tarot card shows Xavi as a positive influence who can uplift the team almost all the way to the top.

As it’s a card of the element of water, which is the element of love, it means that the players would love him as manager.

He’d be popular with lifelong supporters, too.

Zinedine Zidane

The Queen of Swords Tarot card lets us know that Zizu would have been an intelligent and strategic manager if he were to take the job.

A great one for planning and strategizing, he’d have prioritised each player’s best traits to create a collection of winners.

Kieran McKenna

The Princess of Cups Tarot card predicts that McKenna could have been an intuitive leader for the Manchester side.

His ambitions and the players’ ambitions align with those of the fans, and he’d be a well-loved manager.

Michael Carrick

The 10 of Wands Tarot card says that Carrick would not have been an ideal pick for Manchester United.

He’s a very invested manager and would go above and beyond – but his aim would be in the wrong direction.

It’s a Tarot card of overdoing and overloading, his views would not be aligned with the team’s goals.

Graham Potter

The Judgement Tarot card suggests that Potter could have been a very interesting pick for the Manchester team.

He might not have been popular, but he’d have got the job done, and the proof would be in the winning.”

Let us know in the comments who you think should be the next Manchester United manager – do you think it was unfair for Erik ten Hag to get the sack?
