- Lisa Buckwitz won bobsleigh gold at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics
- She gained further attention by posing for Playboy ahead of the 2022 Games
- The reigning world champion has now signed a sponsorship with OnlyFans
German bobsleigh star Lisa Buckwitz has announced she has joined OnlyFans after signing a sponsorship agreement with the online subscription platform.
Buckwitz won gold at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics in the two-woman bobsleigh event, where she was joined by team-mate Mariama Jamanka.
Having pushed Jamanka in the event, Buckwitz has since become a bobsleigh pilot.
She earned the world title earlier this year in the two-woman event in Winterberg, as well as winning bronze in the Monobob event.
Buckwitz had received attention ahead of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics after becoming a cover star for Playboy.

She had posed on the cover of the German edition of the magazine, while Austrian skeleton athlete Janine Flock also featuring.
Buckwitz has now revealed she has joined OnlyFans, but claims she will not be posing naked on the platform.
It is claimed the platform had approached her as part of a desire to help clean up its image.
‘Fans get exclusive access to content that I don’t normally share – the daily grind, the dynamics within the team, and the personal milestones that often go unseen,’ Buckwitz told BILD.
‘I will post as often as I can and share everything – from fitness and nutrition tips to competition preparation to the rituals that help me focus on competition day.
‘For me, it’s a real opportunity to show people what it means to compete at the highest level in this sport – beyond the competitive moments.
‘This platform allows me to connect with my fans on a personal level and to network with people who are genuinely interested in competitive sport and my path in it.’
Buckwitz will reportedly be paid a fixed fee as part of the sponsorship and receive a possible bonus payment based on subscriptions sold, as well as the potential for the agreement to be extended.

Buckwitz had claimed she was ‘honoured’ when asked to star in Playboy two years ago, but admitted there would be critics.
‘There are definitely a lot of people who will be happy,’ she said at the time. ‘There are also a lot of people who will whisper, “Oh my God, why did she do that?” And of course there will be a few jealous people.
‘But honestly: I don’t care. What’s important is that I, my boyfriend and my family like the pictures. I don’t have to prove or show anything to anyone else.’
The 29-year-old, who has previously worked as a state police officer, becomes the latest Olympic athlete to turn to the platform.
British diver Jack Laugher was among the Olympians at Paris 2024 to fund their ambitions through OnlyFans.
Canadian pole vaulter Alysha Newman – who went viral for tweaking at the Games – has used the money she earned from OnlyFans to buy property and build up her savings.
Romanian Olympian Alexandra Ianculescu, who charges a monthly rate of $20 (£15.30), claimed her earnings through the platform have supported her sporting ambitions.
