Tributes have been flooding in for Sarah Cunningham, whose body was tragically discovered today. Friends and loved ones have described her as a “warm and talented” individual.
Ms Cunningham went missing in the early hours of Saturday from Camden, London, last seen departing an apartment block on Jamestown Road near Camden Lock. In a devastating update, Met Police announced today that a woman’s body had been found at Chalk Farm tube station, stating that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Social media has been awash with expressions of grief. One Facebook user posted: “Rest in peace Sarah Cunningham. Nottingham has lost an incredibly talented and heart warming woman x. My condolences to her family x.”
Another shared: “Completely shocked and heartbroken to learn about Sarah Cunningham. We knew each other since we were about 6. She was always such a warm, silly, positive, funny and a fantastically talented person. She had so much life ahead of her. Sending love and support to Sarah’s family.”

Many echoed these sentiments, with one person noting “she has left a big hole in everyone’s heart” and another describing her as a “She was a real sunshine person”, reports the Mirror.
The 31 year old artist was last seen at 2.30 am on Saturday morning, according to a post by her brother on X, formerly known as Twitter. In a desperate plea on Saturday afternoon, he sought information regarding his sister’s whereabouts.
A man issued an appeal for information about his missing sister, stating: “My sister Sarah Cunningham has been missing since 2.30am in Camden. Last seen leaving apartment building on Jamestown Road. She was wearing a black outfit. If you have any information please let me or the police know. She has been officially reported as missing.”

The Met Police confirmed their involvement in the search and issued their own appeal on Sunday, with Camden police posting on X: “Have you seen Sarah? Sarah, 31, was last seen at about 3am on Saturday, November 2 on Jamestown Road, Camden.”
In a subsequent update, the force announced that a body had been discovered, stating: “At around 01.11hrs on Monday, 4 November emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Chalk Farm Underground Station. While we await formal identification, Sarah’s family have been informed of this development.
“They have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time. Officers from the Met are working with colleagues in the British Transport Police to look into the circumstances. The death is being treated as unexpected but at this time it is not thought to be suspicious.”
