Trump’s orange hue is unhealthy information for Republicans – it reveals his ‘ego is in despair’

An expert has chimed in on the potential results of the US election tomorrow (November 5), based on the intensity of Donald Trump’s orangeness right now.

In recent times, the Republican nominee’s facial tones have been a source of both humour and amazement from people around the world, with Trump’s visage often a luminous tangerine colour. An appearance last week in Green Bay, Wisconsin, saw the MAGA ex-president looking “more orange than ever” as he bragged about his “big, beautiful truck”.

This publication even launched a bespoke Fantameter, which tracked the levels of tangerine in Trump’s skin and illustrated his progression through the years. The findings showed Trump applied a larger amount of tanning oil to his face in the run ups to the three elections he’s taken part in.

In his 2016 campaign, the soon-to-be-president’s face was a relatively normal pinkish hue. Trump would go on to win that campaign, but four years later was toppled by Democrat Joe Biden. Around the election season of October/November that year, Trump began sporting an increasingly paprika-looking profile months before Biden emerged victorious.

This seems to be the case – and then some – this time round, with the Republican’s visage appearing increasingly peachier by the day. But how much can be drawn from this eruption of orange for the coming crucial days?

US journalist Emily Keegin shared a carousel of snaps on Instagram last week, throwing shade at how Trump’s complexion evolves into a more vivid hue as “election season” approaches.

Keegin said: “Believe me when I say this,” accompanying a shot of an exceptionally tangerine-toned Trump from October 30. “We’ve never seen him like this. This is darker than he was [at the Republican rally] at Madison Square Gardens on Monday.”

Keegin pointed out that, in a throwback photo where political races weren’t on the radar, his appearance was “normal-ish”.

She added: “Our makeup choices are not made blindly. We use makeup because we see the limitations of our own face far too clearly. Like we do in many other aspects of our lives, we overcompensate to cover our flaws. The presence of an exaggerated mask [like Trump’s] implies an ego in utter despair, desperately trying to hide.”

Rounding off with another recent snap of Trump in Wisconsin, decked out in hi-vis gear, Keegin did not hold back: “Looking at this picture, I can say with complete certainty that Trump thinks he is losing,” she concluded.

Given Trump’s apparent lack of faith in himself this time around, could it be fair to say given his differing facial tones in the respective 2016 and 2020 campaigns, we might be in for a Kamala Harris victory? Only time will tell.
