‘Chic’ £18 Primark boots ‘virtually similar’ to £115 designer Steve Madden pair

Primark is stocking a new pair of boots that look designer – without the hefty price tag. The budget-friendly fashion retailer might have just hit jackpot with its latest footwear offering, drawing striking comparisons to high-end designs.

The Zip-Up Block Heel Boots bear an uncanny resemblance to Steve Madden’s version, but you won’t need to break the bank for them. You can score the high-street lookalike for £18, compared to Steve Madden’s Dusty Chocolate Brown Suede boots which will set you back $149.95 (around £116.22).

Both boots flaunt a suede-esque finish and heeled silhouette, topped off with a distinct structural shape. Style details like side zips and squared toes are present in both, although Primark goes rogue with a black sole as opposed to Steve Madden’s creamy bottom.

The full description from Primark reads: “Step up your style with these chic zip-up block heel boots in a lush dark brown shade. The sleek design features a side zip for easy wear and a squared-off pointed toe that brings a modern edge to your everyday look.”

The retailer added: “With a sturdy block heel, they give you that perfect bit of height without sacrificing comfort. Pair them with skinny jeans or a flowy skirt to effortlessly elevate any outfit, whether you’re heading to brunch or to the shops,” reports the Mirror.

Steve Madden’s product description reads: “The DUSTY ankle bootie features a sleek square-toe design. Its timeless style and sturdy construction make it the perfect addition to any wardrobe. Step out in style and comfort with these expertly crafted boots.”

Steve Madden’s Dusty Chocolate Brown Suede boots are retailing for $149.95 (roughly £116.22), but Primark is offering a similar pair for a mere £18. This means shoppers could save nearly £98 if they opt for the high street version.
