Ulrika Jonsson has taken a brutal swipe at Patsy Kensit by claiming she ‘doesn’t know what it’s like to be single,’ after the actress ruled out the prospect of finding love.
Patsy, 56, who has been married four times, split from her fiancé Patric Cassidy in May after a whirlwind romance, and in a recent interview, said she’s given up on finding a man.
But in the latest edition of her column for The Sun, Ulrika, 57, hit back at Patsy’s comments, questioning her claims that she’s ‘been on her own for a long time,’ noting that she’s been single for far longer.
She wrote: ‘Dear Patsy, being on your own for a few months is not on your own for a long time. Claiming you enjoy your own company after spending the weekend away from your partner or children is not being single.
‘It’s all well and good spouting on about how we enjoy the freedoms of being unattached, but come to see me when you’ve done six years in the solitary wilderness of ‘singledom’, like me, then I’m more than happy to compare notes.

‘I think Patsy will soon find out that talking the talk is far easier than actually walking the ”singular” walk.’
Patsy said earlier this week that while she believes in love, she has no longer has any interest in a relationship.
She told Hello!: ‘I wouldn’t want a relationship, I am not interested. I do believe in love,’ she says. ‘But for me it’s not something I need, I have been on my own a long time and I like my own company. Now, it’s just adjusting my life to fill the hole that’s in my soul.

Meanwhile Ulrika, who has previously been married to Brian Monet, Lance Gerrard-Wright and John Turnbull, lifted the lid on the past five-years of her dating life in a candid admission last month.

Writing for her column in The Sun, Ulrika admitted: ‘The majority of the dates I’ve had over the past five years have had age gaps of decades.’
She continued: ‘I’ve found that the men closer in age to me have turned out to be a tad dreary, set in their ways and carrying more baggage than Heathrow’s Terminal 5. I even became a therapist for some. No thanks, mate.’
‘I’ve been going through a veritable drought for the past five years, especially when it has come to suitable, interesting, good men — and I still don’t rate myself as unlucky in love.’
