Phil Foden’s mum blasted by neighbours over ‘deplorable antics’ at £3.5m Cheshire mansion

Phil Foden’s mum has been blasted by neighbours after a distressing two-hour fireworks party in the back garden of her Cheshire mansion.

Residents in the up-market village of Prestbury were far from impressed with Claire Rowlands who kept local children awake and left pets in distress with her loud celebrations. The 45-year-old was gifted the £3.5 million property by her son Manchester City star Foden – who lives close by and gave no prior warning to residents.

The event began at 6pm last Wednesday and didn’t finish until 8.30pm with some comparing the display to one you would see at Disneyland or on Sydney Harbour Bridge. As a result, locals wrote an ‘open letter deploring the antics’ of the family.

One person who lived close by said it ‘must have cost thousands’ and another said ‘most were concerned about their pets’, as reported by The Mail. It’s not the first time that the family have caused upset with Foden branded ‘selfish’ by locals in July after holding a noisy party until the early hours.

Another local said: “They do throw some wild parties there and it does get noisy. People don’t mind them enjoying themselves, but this is ridiculous.” It’s not known if Foden was present for the lights show, but reports also suggested that it was postponed by one night due to the City star being away with his club who faced Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on bonfire night.

“It was very loud and went on for a good couple of hours,” another added. “I know a lot of neighbours were very annoyed because it wasn’t your normal garden fireworks, it was display-standard stuff.

“It must have been deafening for those living close by. A few of the neighbours have complained because it was just too much for a residential area.” Foden’s Mum has been in the headlines before, admitting that she was ‘a b*tch’ when arrested for a drunken assault earlier this year.

She confessed to the police that she was ‘like an animal’ when she had been drinking, and was later fined £100 with £85 prosecution costs and a £40 surcharge having admitted to being drunk and disorderly.
