Brooklyn Beckham has weight in on the criticism nepo babies, like himself, receive as he graced the front cover of Grazia magazine.

On multiple occasions the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, 25, has been accused of using nepotism to his advantage in his career.

But the aspiring chef, hot sauce brand owner, entrepreneur and photographer has simply put the record straight.

He told the publication: ‘Obviously I am one. But I couldn’t help how I was born, at all.’

While he understands why the public can feel irked by nepo babies, Brooklyn said he tries to ignore the ‘rubbish’ people say rather than dwell on it.

He added: ‘There’s always going to be people that say rubbish. But as long as you do something that makes you happy and you’re kind to people, that’s all that matters.

‘I’m always gonna get it, no matter what I do. And I’m fine with that. It makes me work harder, because I’m like, I’m gonna prove these people wrong.’

Brooklyn has been in the limelight since the day he was born, following in the footsteps of his famous parents Posh and Becks.

The former model announced the launch of his new hot brand last month and his family have been in full support.

David shared a snap of him enjoying the sauce with his tacos, while brother Cruz posted a photo of the sauce in his burger.

Cloud 23, named after the No.23 jersey his father wore at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, comes in two variants – Sweet Jalapeno and Hot Habanero.

‘I did my research and I just felt like there was this hole in the market with luxury condiments, especially for a really good price,’ Brooklyn told Delish magazine.

Explaining his move into condiments, he said, ‘I’ve always been a foodie. I’ve always been lucky enough to travel to different places in the world with my mum and dad. Obviously my dad with football, we lived in Madrid, we lived in LA, Milan.

‘Then Covid happened, I met my wife and started cooking for her and just fell in love with it. And now it’s just something that just takes my mind off of things.’

Brooklyn and his wife were initially linked after they were spotted in each other’s company during a Halloween party that took place in 2019.

The happy couple went Instagram official with their relationship the following January.

The pair moved quickly with their romance and announced that they had become engaged that July.

They went on to tie the knot during a lavish wedding ceremony that took place in Palm Beach in April 2022.

Brooklyn opened up about married life at the Cannes Lions International Festival Of Creativity in June.

He said: ‘It’s so important to find that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. I married my best mate so it’s the best.’

Brooklyn also confirmed he does all the cooking and cleaning at home, saying: ‘My wife can’t cook at all.’

The former model said he and Nicola are homebodies who generally prefer to ‘dine in’ rather than go out.

Brooklyn has been busy promoting his new hot sauce called Cloud23 and has been sharing snaps of his creations made using the condiment

Brooklyn recently gushed about his married life with Nicola, saying it’s ‘continued to be the honeymoon stage’, after tying the knot in a lavish wedding in 2022 (pictured this month)

Discussing his passion for food, Brooklyn told how he was lucky to be exposed to a wide variety of cuisines while travelling with his father David as a child.

The pair are competitive with each other in the kitchen and have had cook-offs judged by Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother Victoria.

He said: ‘I love making spaghetti bolognese, that’s my favourite. I love it al dente.

‘Me and my dad have this thing where he thinks he makes the best spaghetti bolognese, we have competitions.’
