Boy stated ‘that was f**ked up’ after trainer paid him ‘to complete inside her’

A teacher is facing multiple charges after she allegedly paid students with money and drugs in exchange for sex – forcing one boy to “finish inside her”.

Substitute teacher Carissa Smith, who formerly worked at schools in the Dixon School District, Missouri, was arrested on Tuesday after being accused of urging her alleged victims to stay quiet about the inappropriate sexual encounters. She is facing 19 charges including statutory rape and sexual contact with a juvenile, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.

Smith would offer students at least $100 to have sex or for her to perform oral sex on them, said police who interviewed a number of pupils, with the alleged encounters happening inside her home or car. One encounter is said to have happened on a gravel road.

One alleged victim claimed Smith, who is married with children, forced him to “finish inside of her” and afterwards he realised “that was f**ked up”. She allegedly offered him more money after.

Another alleged victim who reportedly met Smith while she was a substitute teacher at Dixon Middle School claimed she sent naked pictures of herself while propositioning him, as per the probable cause statement obtained by The Kansas City Star.

Smith allegedly urged the student to stay tight-lipped about the sexual relationship because she “would get into trouble” otherwise. She is also accused of giving student marijuana and alcohol, and allowing them to smoke and drink with her, revealed court docs.

She was hired as a long-term substitute for Dixon Middle School in September 2022 and later worked as a paraprofessional and long-term substitute with Dixon High School before resigning in August 2024.

In a letter to parents, Dixon R-1 School District Superintendent Travis Bohrer disclosed that the district found out about the alleged misconduct earlier in the school year but could not comment on it due to the investigation. Mr Bohrer said: “This is very disturbing and distressing information for everyone in our school community.”

Smith has been charged with eight counts of second-degree statutory rape, one count of second-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of sexual misconduct with a student, three counts of sexual contact with a student, two counts of second-degree sexual trafficking of a child under 18 years old, one count of patronizing prostitution, and two counts of hindering prosecution.
