‘Real winner’ from Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul battle revealed and so they weren’t in ring

YouTuber Jake Paul may have been declared the winner of his fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson, but fans have crowned a different champion – stunning ring girl Sydney Thomas.

Paul, 27, was booed by the 70,000-strong crowd in Texas as he took on 58 year old ‘Iron Mike’ in a lacklustre bout that saw some fans walk out early.

Despite the underwhelming fight, Sydney, a University of Alabama student and influencer, stole the show with her dazzling appearance alongside fellow ring girls Lexi Williams, Raphaela Milagres, Virginia Sanhouse and Delia Sylvain, reports the Mirror.

Another joked: “If the Paul vs Tyson fight buffered only while showing Sydney Thomas the fight wouldn’t have been so bad,” referencing the live streaming issues that plagued the event.

A third fan quipped: “My entire feed is Sydney Thomas content and honestly I’m down with it.” A fourth gushed: “Just watched the highlights of Mike Tyson destroying Jake Paul, it was crazy a fight but my winner is Sydney Thomas.”, reports the Mirror.

Sydney is now set to shoot to stardom after her show-stopping appearance. Sydney is strutting her stuff as a Ring Girl for the second time, after she debuted at a scrap in Puerto Rico last month.

“Adding ‘ring girl’ to the resume,” she scribbled to her whopping 283,000 Instagram fans. “I had a blast getting in the ring for my first ever boxing event (and first time in Puerto Rico).”

She also expressed massive gratitude, saying, “I thank God every day for allowing me to be a part of such amazing opportunities and experiences. Truly feeling so blessed. See you next time for round two.”

In other news from the ring, Paul and Tyson have been shelved with ‘suspensions. ‘ These cheeky timeouts come courtesy of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation following their professional match.

Although neither bloke was knocked about too badly, the boys are on orders to take it easy for a bit. According to the rules, they’ve got to chillax for three days per round thrown down.

So, both warriors are facing a compulsory 24 days off duty.
