Primark promoting £38 boots that look ‘virtually similar’ to £219 designer pair

Primark is flogging a pair of £38 boots that are a dead ringer for a £219 designer pair from Carvela. The high-street steal is part of Rita Ora’s collection at the budget fashion store.

The pop star’s black gem heeled knee-high boots can be snapped up in-store or via click-and-collect. The boots, described as “pointed toe knee-high boots covered in black faux gems”, are available in sizes 3-8 and are flying off the shelves.

Fashion blogger @Semina. styled showcased the ‘sparkling’ boots on TikTok, exclaiming: “The Rita Ora Sparkle Boots, a statement for sure! ” She added in the comments section: “The sparkle was unreal.”

Viewers were quick to share their thoughts, with one commenting: “Oh wow.”

It seems this style is all the rage, with similar options available from other brands, including Carvela, reports the Mirror.

However, fans of the designer brand will be disappointed to learn that its Lovebird High Jewel boots, which bear a striking resemblance to the Primark pair, have sold out. The shoes had been reduced to £69, but originally retailed at £219.

“The Lovebird High Jewel boot sit just below the knee. The upper is in black with a crystal embellished upper. There is a gunmetal zipper on the inner side of the ankle,” reads the product description.

For those who love a bit of sparkle, Carvala has slashed the prices on several glitzy options, including the Lovebird Bootie Heels now going for £84, Lovebird Toecap Boots at £79, and Lovebird Vinyl Ankle Boots for £134. If you’re more into knee-high styles, Public Desire is serving up its own version of the trend with the Lothario Black Diamante Knee High Boots priced at £54.99.

There’s also a standout pair from Where’s That From, available at Debenhams, reduced from £136.99 to just £34.84. For a pop of colour, the brand offers the boots in silver.
