With winter approaching and Black Friday 2024 nearly here, savvy shoppers are looking for the best deals on coats. Luckily, there are lots of offers.
Several high-street stores have kicked off their Black Friday sales early. Others have launched deals ahead of their official sales, expected to start around November 29.
For shoppers who can’t wait to get started, here’s a selection of the best offers available to shop now. But don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled as more sales launch in the coming weeks, as the Mirror reports.

New Look has cut the price of its popular Black Cropped Puffer Coat, which is down from £39 to £29.24. The puffer coat has received lots of glowing reviews, with one shopper writing: “The jacket was an amazing jacket which kept me warm in the cold and windy times, it fit me perfectly. The jacket also looked rlly good with all my outfits and didn’t make it look weird or stand out too much!”
Another praised: “Not too thick, warm enough for the winter.” Someone noted: “Good coat—lightweight but warm enough and just the right length. I’m tall, and it’s quite cropped. The only negative, as I discovered in the rain today, is that the hood is a bit small. ” Another thought: “Quite a small fit & short arms.”

Elsewhere, John Lewis is offering 20% off a range of womenswear products, including select Barbour coats. The offer includes the Corey Showerproof Jacket, Dark Navy/Ancient. It’s reduced from £289, on sale for £231.20, and while it’s still a high price point, it has been rated as great value.
One impressed customer said: “I am very pleased with the navy Barbour jacket. Light weight, not bulky and warm. Would have liked the hood to be detachable. Otherwise very pleased with it.” The coat is machine washable at 30C, and it can go in the tumble dry at a low temperature, but you’ll need to use a cool iron. The fabric is a mix of polyester and cotton, which is worth noting if you’d prefer a more breathable blend.

Alternatively, Nobody’s Child offers a 25% discount on all items with a Black Friday promo code on the brand’s website. So shoppers can save a lot on pricier products, such as the Oversized Red Check Double Breasted Wool Blend Coat.
It usually costs £249, but it’s down to £186.75 with the code. Just note it’s 70% Recycled Polyester and 30% Responsible Wool Standard Wool, and it is dry-clean only.
