CBS Sports ace Amanda Balionis is enjoying a well-earned break from the hustle of sports broadcasting.
The 39-year-old has been at the heart of the action, covering the PGA Tour and then moving into NFL reporting come September, but right now she’s off-air, taking some time to chill instead of hosting this weekend’s sports rundown.
The sports presenter gave her followers a sneak peek into her dreamy beach holiday through an Instagram pic, captioned with “paradise found.”
Balionis has quickly become a recognised face for sports fans. While she’s scoring points with NFL fans in her recent football reporting stint, it seems golf enthusiasts are itching to see her back on the fairways, cluttering her social feeds with queries like “When are you going back to golf?”
Her latest beach snap dropped just as golf legend Rory McIlroy was busy flipping his year of chaos to triumph, securing not just one, but two shiny trophies out in Dubai.

McIlroy’s sporting journey hit a few speed bumps, particularly at the US Open where rival Bryson DeChambeau swooped in for the win in an epic finale.
But the pro-golfer’s personal scoreboard also saw a mix of victories and losses, following news he and his wife Erica Stoll considered a split, only to reunite weeks later, setting off baseless rumours that romantically linked McIlory with Balionis without a shred of proof.
In an emotional display following his Sunday victory, Rory McIlroy embraced his wife Erica and their little girl Poppy, clearly moved by the moment. He openly shared, “Yeah It means a lot. I’ve been through a lot this year professionally, personally. It feels like the fitting end to 2024,” reports the Mirror.
Not shying away from the difficulties he faced, McIlroy admitted: “You know, yeah, look, I’ve persevered this year a lot. Had close calls. Wasn’t able to get it done…
“Really pleased with the way I finished and thankfully I hung on on a tough day and got it done.”
