Two fist-swinging brothers could meet in the ring after WWE legend gave his approval for the fight.
WWE Hall of Fame’s Bubba Ray Dudley reckons boxer Jake Paul, fresh from his victory against Mike Tyson, should compete against wrestler brother Logan Paul at WWE WrestleMania.
Paul and Tyson gloved up on November 15, to swap blows in eight two-minute rounds, in a lacklustre match which saw 27-year-old Jake outscore the 58-year-old boxing household name.
Despite the fight not packing a punch, it broke Netflix viewership records, drawing more than 60 million live viewers from around the world, making the match one of the most-watched sporting events of the year, reports Dexerto.
Naturally, fans want to know what follows such a fight, for both Paul and Tyson, and it could involve the boxers stepping into the wrestling ring, at Bully Ray’s behest.
The wrester is keen for the young boxer to follow brother Logan Paul’s footsteps into sports entertainment, and he has an idea on how to make that happen.
The Hall of Fame star wants Jake to fight Logan, who also started out as a boxer before quickly becoming a WWE star, at Wrestle Mania 41.
In a twist, he wants “Iron Mike” in Jake’s corner, teaming up the recently defeated and victor.
Bubba Ray Dudley said: “It’s Vegas, and the Paul’s are [money] makin’ machines. Book it.”
His other suggestion is to buddy up the brothers so that “the Paul’s tagging at Mania for the Tag Team Championship”, to possibly knock current title holders Motor City Machine Guns out of top position.
While the match is yet to be confirmed, it wouldn’t be Jake’s first foray into WWE. He was by his brother’s side for his 2022 title match against Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia.
Bubba Ray Dudley isn’t the only one who thinks a Paul brothers fight should be on the cards, with the Jake and Logan suggesting taking their sibling rivalry into the ring is the end goal.
