Lidl is giving away the gift everyone wants for Christmas, but only a lucky few will bag one.
The German supermarket big gun is giving away giant gravy yachts in time for Christmas, so you can drench your spuds in liquid gold poured from the ultimate gravy vessel.
It appears like lots of Brits love gravy too, with the supermarket selling one unit per second on December 22, 2023 in the lead up to last Christmas.
Up for grabs are supersized flotillas that can hold a staggering two litres of gravy. There’s also ‘superyachts’; gravy boats that can hold a whopping five litres for those folk who think a pool of gravy is just not enough.
However, only a lucky few will be able to nab one, as there’s only 100 of the two-litre boats, and a mere five of the whoppers.
Gravy yachts come as part of exclusive bundles that gravy fanatics can win in a giveaway that opens at 10am on Friday, November 22 and closes Friday, November 29 at 11.59pm. Sign up at lidlegravyyachts.co.uk for your chance to drown your sorrows in thickened up animal juice.
These exclusive bundles include a coupon for a free jar of Deluxe Gravy Granules gravy granules and snazzy merch such as a ‘Captain Gravy’ hat and an allegedly stylish “nautical neckerchief”, because as Lidl puts it “loving gravy isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s an identity”.
For those who identify as gravy lovers, but tragically miss out on the option to add a luxury sea vessel of it on the festive table, fear not, because even gravy yacht losers could still be winners.
In addition to the gravy yachts, nearly 10,000 Lidl Plus Deluxe Gravy Granule coupons are also up for grabs – just make sure you’re in it to win it.
