A Tesco staff has taken extreme measures to protect themselves from discount-hungry shoppers. Yellow sticker discounts have become hugely popular in all supermarkets – with supermarket goers often taking to social media to brag about their huge discounts on high priced food items.

They said: “I legit feel like I’m in an apocalypse trying to barricade myself they lean over and grab things move it and try and come in like it says DO NOT ENTER?? I don’t mind passing a customer a item if they want to buy it, but lm not going out of my way to reduce it again.”
And another said: “I had this customer ask can I have a look at the cupcakes I literally said to them yes you can look at them once I’m finished marking down the products and to not move my yellow barriers – she wasn’t happy.”

I’d have the barriers out and the reduction mod would form an orderly queue or they’d be gone. Got rid of about 10 of our most annoying customers during this period.”
Many staffers claimed they actually do the reductions in the stock room, but others claimed that this was against company policy – to which the original staff members agreed but claimed that they “valued their life” more than the rules…
