Watch the magic second Ed Sheeran celebrates unbelievable Ipswich purpose as plucky Premier League underdogs look to rain on Ruben Amorim’s parade in his first sport as Man United boss

Ipswich Town fan Ed Sheeran was at Portman Road on Sunday and the pop superstar was spotted celebrating joyously after an Omari Hutchinson wondergoal drew the home side level against Manchester United just before half-time.

United, under the management of Ruben Amorim for the first time, made a dream start and were in front within 80 seconds of the kick-off courtesy of Marcus Rashford’s fifth goal of the season.

But Kieran McKenna‘s plucky Tractor Boys responded superbly to going behind and they forced multiple saves out of Andre Onana before Hutchinson superbly picked out the top corner from more than 20 yards.

Hutchinson is becoming a bit of a long-range specialist as his last six strikes have all come from outside the penalty area.

His latest goal certainly got the seal of approval from a beaming Sheeran, who was seen hugging those around him in the posh seats.

Sheeran attended Sunday’s game dressed in an official Ipswich club tracksuit with his initials printed above the Umbro badge.
