Paul Hogan is said to be ‘worried sick’ about his son Chance Hogan as concerning photos continue to emerge of his youngest child.

The 26-year-old was recently spotted looking dishevelled as he loitered in a back alley close to his Crocodile Dundee star father’s lavish Venice Beach home.

Chance’s online behaviour is also becoming more erratic.

He recently shared a bizarre video of himself ominously claiming something is about to ‘begin’ as he bared his inflamed gums to the camera.

According to New Idea, family friend’s say Paul, 85, has become ‘stressed’ about his son’s lifestyle.

‘Paul is at a crossroads over how to handle all this. One option would be to move back to Australia, but Chance doesn’t want to leave America,’ the source said

In disturbing Instagram posts from October last year, Chance shared footage of himself in a car with his friends as they smoked, before debuting a large cut on his collarbone

‘So they’re stuck in limbo, which is so hard on Paul and very hard for his friends to sit back and watch.’

They went on to say Paul’s advancing age has ‘slowed’ him down and made him more ‘frail’ in recent years, making it more difficult to manage Chance.

‘It’s high time this kid got his act together and stopped stressing out his dad. Paul really deserves that… after all the love and support he’s shown,’ they said.

But the insider claimed that Chance is ‘his own worst enemy’.

The report comes just a day after Daily Mail Australia shared shocking images of Chance looking dishevelled in a back alley, taken on November 14.

He appeared to be aimlessly pacing up and down the street before approaching a blacked-out vehicle near the home where he is believed to live with his father.

While Daily Mail Australia does not suggest any illegal activity occurred, the pictures will no doubt cause more worry for his dad after a string of troublesome sightings.

Chance, who Paul shares with ex-wife and former co-star Linda Kozlowski, raised concerns again in September when he shared a worrisome video to social media.

He posted disturbing footage to Instagram, ominously claiming something is about to ‘begin’.

Chance looked unrecognisable with long brunette locks and blue sunglasses with a cigarette between his stained teeth while his gums appeared to be inflamed.

In the videos, he smiled and revealed several other cuts across his forehead as well as bruises around his eye, but did not reveal the cause of the mystery injuries

As his online behaviour also grows erratic, insiders have claimed Paul has become ‘stressed’ about his son’s lifestyle, reported New Idea on Monday. Chance pictured in September

‘It’s only just begun,’ Chance said in his first video as he gave the camera an exaggerated smile.

He then uploaded a series of selfies on a balcony at an apartment in Los Angeles while he listened to music.

One photo showed him holding a beer as an ashtray filled with dozens of smoked cigarette sat in front of him.

Chance’s second video was the most concerning as he appeared to share a countdown to an unknown event with followers.

‘One hour and 25 minutes, 24 minutes now in fact. That’s when it commences. Let’s see,’ he said.

It is unclear what is meant to be ‘beginning’ and Chance has not posted to Instagram in the hours following the last video.

Before that, Chance was spotted in March during a rare outing with Paul in Los Angeles, just months after he was hospitalised in October 2023.

Paul told DailyMail.com during their outing that his youngest son was ‘doing a lot better’ following an emergency trip to the hospital.

Just months earlier, Chance had shared a concerning video to Instagram of himself covered in cuts and bruises.

Paul shares sons Brett, Clay, Scott and Todd, as well as daughter Lauren with his ex-wife of 25 years Noelene Edwards, who he divorced in 1986.

In 1990, he married his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kozlowski who he shares Chance with.

The couple divorced in October 2013.
