Fans believe they have pinpointed the reason behind Mo Salah’s sensational start to the season at high-flying Liverpool.
Salah turned 32 in June, and there were some concerns that his best days may have been and gone ahead of Arne Slot‘s arrival over the summer.
But Salah made a dramatic change to his appearance during the off-season as he chopped off his famous locks, with many speculating that he underwent a hair transplant.
The Egyptian winger has never officially confirmed whether he had the procedure, but whatever he did it has worked wonders, as he has scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 18 appearances this term to send Liverpool eight points clear at the top of the table.
Supporters have now linked Salah’s new haircut with his upturn in form, and claimed he has never looked better.
‘The hairline has done wonders for Mo Salah,’ one fan wrote on X alongside a goat emoji.

Another added: ‘The hair transplant took Mo Salah back to his prime form, nobody can convince me otherwise.’
Meanwhile, one supporter posted: ‘Salah since he got his new hairline,’ with a picture of Lionel Messi celebrating.
Salah is affectionately known as the ‘Egyptian King’ at Anfield, but a fan believes his new look has changed everything as they stated: ‘Mo Salah with one hair transplant went from Egyptian king to Dominican prince’.
Salah was the difference-maker for Liverpool again on Sunday as he scored twice to help his side battle back from 2-1 down to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win at Southampton.
But he caused a stir with his comments after the game as he hinted that his time at Liverpool could be coming to an end, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
Salah told reporters outside St Mary’s: ‘We are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in.
‘You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future.
‘I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or the fans’ hands.’
His remarks have split opinion, with some fans claiming it would be ‘completely unforgivable’ if Liverpool’s owners allow Salah to leave for free next summer.

Jamie Carragher branded Salah ‘selfish’ for talking about his future ahead of a huge week for Liverpool
But club legend Jamie Carragher branded Salah ‘selfish’ on Monday Night Football as he hit out the winger for the timing of his outburst.
‘I must say, I am very disappointed with Mo Salah,’ Carragher said. ‘That interview last night… Liverpool have Real Madrid in midweek and Manchester City next weekend. That’s the story for Liverpool right now.
‘And Mo Salah, we’re aware – certainly the local reporters near the club – that in seven years he’s stopped in the mixed zone twice. That’s absolutely fine.
‘But he stops for the third time away at Southampton on the back of winning Liverpool the game and putting that out.
‘If he continues to put comments out or his agent continues to put cryptic tweets out, that is selfish. That’s thinking about themselves and not the football club.’
