Mohamed Salah dropped a contract bombshell after Liverpool’s stunning comeback against Southampton.
The Egyptian superstar’s current deal is set to run out in the summer, and he’s been upfront about where things stand: “Well, we are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club, [so] I’m probably more out than in,” Salah disclosed.
“I’m just trying to enjoy my football and I will play at the top level as long as possible. I’m just doing my best because this is who I am and I try to give it all for myself and for the club. We will see what happens next.”

Amid ongoing contract negotiations, rumours swirl about what’s on the horizon for Salah should his time with the Reds cease. A switch to the Saudi Pro League gripped headlines after a spurned bid from Al-Ittihad during the summer transfer window in 2023.
Despite previous interest from the Middle East, Sky Sports is reporting that Saudi teams seem to have pumped the brakes on chasing down Liverpool’s forward.

Interest in the star player remains high, but it’s now down to him and his reps to show they’re open to a move. Yet Mohamed Salah’s gaze is firmly fixed on Liverpool, dreaming of future triumphs with the club, reports Liverpool.com.
“You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this,” Salah expressed on Sunday.
“But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future. I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end it is not in my hands or the fans’ hands. Let’s wait and see.”
“I’m not going to retire soon so I’m just playing, focusing on the season and I’m trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League as well.”
