A claim has been staked for Tuesday’s £177 million EuroMillions jackpot won by a UK ticket-holder, operator Allwyn said.
The whopping prize has been reclaimed and is the highest sum ever won in a National Lottery.
The claim will now go through a validation process and if confirmed and the prize will be paid at an appointment with one of the National lottery’s winners’ advisers.
The winning numbers were 7, 11, 25, 31, 40 and lucky stars 9 and 12.

Winning this, makes the lucky person now wealthier than former One Direction singer Harry Styles and heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua, who are both worth £175 million, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List.
On July 19 2022, an anonymous UK ticket-holder scooped the record EuroMillions jackpot of £195 million.
Tuesday’s winner is just behind Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, who won a then £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket for the draw on May 10 2022.
This latest prize is among the list of people who had luck knock on their door.
