One lucky lottery winner has become filthy rich overnight in one of the EuroMillions‘ biggest-ever draws.
They scooped an eye-watering £177m in Tuesday’s game making them the third biggest National Lottery winner of all time. It instantly makes them one of the 1,000 weathiest people in the country and richer the likes of pop stars Adele and Harry Styles, worth £150m and £120m respectively.
With that amount of money they could certainly pay off a few bills – and bag themselves a couple of luxury purchases too such as their own private golf course. A private jet could cost them anywhere from £1.59million to over £80million, so the Euromillions winner could end up with an impressive fleet.

While the winner might not be able to buy an entire Premier League club for £177 million, they could potentially acquire a minority stake in a top-tier team. Many clubs in the English Premier League are valued in the billions, but smaller stakes are often available for sale.

Depending on if they are a fan, smaller clubs such as Bradford City, or even some teams in League One or League Two (like Portsmouth or Ipswich Town), might be on the market for around £20 million to £50 million.
