David De Gea, who was between the sticks for Fiorentina on Sunday, took to social media with a two-word message: “God Please.”
Fiorentina and Inter players formed a shield around the star as he received medical attention. Bove was transported into an ambulance, that had made its way onto the pitch at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, as players and match officials were seen in tears.
Inter duo Federico Dimarco and Nicolò Barella were quick on the scene to demand medical attention. Football fans from across the globe took to social media to send the 22-year-old their well-wishes.
