Shocking video footage captures the moment a Kremlin offical has a meltdown mid-flight and threatens one of his fellow passengers.
The assistant to Andrei Gurulev, a former army officer and current Deputy for Duma state, kicked off onboard a flight heading to Chita, a city in the area of Zabaikalsky Krai, from Moscow. Adam Isluey made the journey on December 3, when it’s understood he got stuck into the booze before throwing the tantrum.
The footage, which was shared on Telegram, shows Isluey yelling in his seat as passengers watch on. At times he shakes his fist at people and even gets up from his seat at one point.

Turning to another passenger he unleashed a foul-mouthed threat.
Isluey was removed from the flight and handed over to the police.
Following the incident, Guruleve said that no disciplinary measures were taken as Isluey had already been fired two weeks ago for outrageous behaviour.
Not the only passenger to have a mid-fight tantrum, a man who repeatedly kicked a seat onboard a flight in America was restrained and tied up by fellow passengers.
The incident was captured on video by Gino Galofaro during a United Airlines flight from Austin to Los Angeles on November 16.
Gino, a San Diego-based addiction counsellor, revealed he was awoken by the commotion and had to assist in restraining the unruly passenger.
The addiction treatment service provider, who runs Hope Interventions, said: “I woke up to him kicking the seat. The flight attendant walked by a couple times, nobody was doing anything.”
Gino continued: “I restrained him and two other passengers were already getting zip ties so we zip tied his hands an feet and seat belted him to the seat. We were 40 minutes from LAX. Police came onboard when we landed.”
