Haley and Hanna Cavinder, the stunning stars of the Miami Hurricanes basketball team, have been named in Forbes 30 under 30 list alongside some of American sports’ biggest names.
Prior to 2021, the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), prevented student athletes from profiting from the use of their name, image and likeness, essentially preventing them from earning money through brand deals, product endorsements or social media.
However, after years of debate, the NCAA relented, opening up a new world for the likes of the stunning Cavinder twins, who have a combined following of nearly two million on Instagram. When they’re not posting about their antics on the court for the Hurricanes, they can be found uploading some eye-catching snaps for their fans.

And away from social media, they have parlayed their fame into a number of successful business ventures, with the Cavinder twins recently being named on Forbes 30 under 30 list, alongside the likes of the NBA’S Jayson Tatum and the NFL’s Christian McCaffrey, both of whom are all-stars in their respective fields.
Their bio on the Forbes website reads: “Haley and Hanna Cavinder, 23-year-old twin sisters who play basketball at the University of Miami and have more than 6.5 million followers between TikTok and Instagram, are among the biggest success stories of college sports’ NIL era.
“Just in the past year, they have signed with Under Armour, cofounded cosmetics brand Hustle Beauty and fitness app TWOgether, and invested in beverage company Slate Milk.”
Just last year, they also posed for Sports Illustrated too, before announcing they would be returning to the Miami Hurricanes following a year away for the 2024/25 season. “My last season of basketball was one of the most successful & challenging yrs of my life but it helped me grow immensely,” Hanna wrote on X.
“The past few months I have been itching to get back to the game that I thought I lost the passion for. With that being said, I am returning for one more szn.”
Haley added: “Given the news that my sister was returning to play ball at Miami and after careful consideration and thought, I’ve decided to return to the University of Miami and play with Hanna for our final and 5th year.
“There is nothing more important than family and the bond I share with my Twin sister. Being presented with the opportunity to play together one more time is something I cannot pass up. I am excited for this upcoming season and can’t wait to play at the U.”
