GK Barry choked back tears as she had an emotional reunion with her mum, Loretta Bruce, after leaving I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The influencer – real name Grace Keeling – was booted out of the jungle along with Coronation Street actor, Alan Halsall, during Friday’s episode of the ITV show.

GK gave her mum a huge hug when she arrived at the hotel in Surfer’s Paradise, Australia.

The fresh-faced 25-year-old, who arrived in a car with her girlfriend, footballer Ella Rutherford, looked delighted as she ran into Loretta’s arms, covering her face with her hands as she cried.

Earlier in Friday’s episode, Loretta surprised the TikTok star in the jungle and told her daughter she was doing ‘so well’.

Loretta also praised GK’s friendship with campmate Reverend Richard Coles, calling him a ‘calming influence’.

She then recalled one of the duo’s candid chats, joking: ‘Did you really have to talk about scissoring? Everyone knows about that now!’

As Loretta left, GK pleaded with her mum to give her girlfriend Ella a ‘snog’, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly later revealing that the footballer was waiting for her on the bridge.

The influencer had a tearful reunion with Ella on the famous bridge when she was evicted.

She told hosts Ant and Dec of her experience in the jungle: ‘I can’t believe I’ve looked like that on national TV, for several days.

‘It was worse than I expected, I thought it would just be tanning and having a good time.

‘That was hell, I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through that but the people in there were amazing so that made it great.’

She added: ‘I feel so much more comfortable in myself, being me, I feel like I’ve found myself in Thailand, one of those ones. That will last a week.’

GK was also greeted by her former campmates Maura Higgins and Dean McCullough

Discussing her unlikely bond with Richard, she said: ‘I usually eat when I’m bored so those things were hard, until Richard came in and then I was never bored.

‘I’m a potty mouth vile person and when he came in I thought we’re not going to click here. But he’s more dirty than me, I was shocked that we got on so well, he’s my favourite person.

‘He thinks he can save me and I think I can save him, it’s a two way system. He’s taking me to the opera, I’m taking him to get a vaggazle.’

She went on: ‘The first thing I’m doing is giving Ella big snog and eating a bacon roll.’

Later on the spin-off show, Unpacked, she told host and former show winner Sam Thompson: ‘I’d never do it again but this has been one of the best experiences. It was like a family in there. Rev Richard is my husband, we’re going to have brunch I’m so excited.

‘I’m going to spend all my time with him and my mrs from now on. You need to get me in a mini-van with that man.

‘I have learnt from him the lingo “praise be” and that he showers naked, his little vicar’s out. I was the easiest one to be wound up, I was swearing at the crew all day long.’

She previously told Richard that she used to be religious, and spoke about going to a religious camp when she was younger, where there were men telling her not to have sex before she was married.

GK admitted her time in the jungle was ‘hell’ but that it helped restore her confidence

Grace then said that even at 13, she thought: ‘Well, that’s not gonna happen. I see my future and it involves scissoring now.’

Richard asked Grace what scissoring is, which she chose not to explain to him in detail, but did tell him it was something that lesbians do.

He then made jokes about the ‘sizzling scissoring sisterhood’, and the pair collapsed into giggles.

GK admitted in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I came into this jungle, maybe not knowing who I would gel with or who I would be close with in here and never in a million years if you told me that I would be getting on best with a reverend would I have believed you.

‘But, he is honestly… I think he might be my favourite person in here.’
