Primark stocking fillers for below £10 – good for make-up nabbing children and sweaty sisters

Whether you’re shopping for your kids, your partner, or even your great uncle Bob – Primark has got you covered.

From the obligatory socks, underwear and pyjamas, there’s also a whole range of things kids of all ages will love. During a recent trip to my local store, I picked up a few bits and bobs for my tribe.

With Stanley cup and Jellycat dupes all the rage, I had to chuck some of those in my basket. Here’s what I managed to get hold of for under £10.

Slipper sales must soar at this time of year

Hot water bottles – £10

If your kid is anything like mine (as in enjoys sprawling on the couch under a blanket at any given opportunity) then these cute hot water bottles are an ideal way to keep the heating off for longer.

My lad is into Guardians of the Galaxy so I got him Groot, but there was also Stitch and a Christmas Yoda. Primark has recently released a handy hot water bottle guide that tells you how to tell if yours is out of date. Who knew?

Warm and cuddly – most kids would love these

Make up brush set – £6

This was only £6

Anyone with a teenage daughter will know that keeping your make up away from their stealing hands is an impossible task.

Christmas is actually the perfect opportunity to fill my teen’s stocking with all of the stuff she nicks off me over the year. I thought this little make up brush set was cute for £6 and should keep her out of my make up bag, for now at least.

Fluffy pyjamas – £8

How cute are these?

What is Christmas without brand new festive and fluffy pyjamas? The perfect gift for all people of all ages. With the cold creeping in, it’s good to get cosy.

I couldn’t resist this candy cane set.

Jellycat dupe – £7

I fried to resist (Sorry)

I might have a sassy teen whose wardrobe and make up collection costs more than mine, but she’s still a big kid when it comes to teddies.

These Jellycat dupes are super cute and a fraction of the price. My daughter lives off eggs on toast so I had to crack and get this. Others were available including coffee cups and cakes.

Stanley Cup dupe – £10

The footie mums will spot me a mile off

As a new “football mum,” I wanted a travel mug so I can be like the others, slurping coffee while I stand shivering on the sidelines.

These bright 40oz Stanley cup dupes will brighten many a dull morning without breaking the bank.

And yes, I bought my own stocking filler – that’s allowed.

Slippers – £10

Who says men can’t get in on the Ugg (dupe) craze?

Slippers are my go-to gift for all the men in my life. These Ugg-looking ones looked cosy and warm and had strong grips underneath.

They looked a bit more sturdy than the flimsy ones from years gone by so I bagged a pair for my dad and my partner.

More fluffy pyjamas – £10

He can pretend his in Miami in these toasty pjs

As I said earlier, you can’t go wrong with pjs – no matter who they are for. I picked up this warm set for my other half who is too cool to wear a dressing gown. But will they stop him letting us turn the thermostat up?

Frost Angel – £3.50

Smell like sweets instead of sweat

After writing about Primark’s latest item that has got people’s baths foaming, I thought I’d get my sister the Frost Angel shower syrup which apparently “smells the same” as Lush’s festive Snow Fairy scent. (I’m very easily influenced, I do realise).

While Lush’s bubblegum and candyfloss version will set you back £8 for the 110g shower gel – Frost Angel whipped shower syrup is just £3.50 for 300ml.

Perfect for her sweaty gym armpits. (Good job none of my family will read this).
