‘Police are combing the area’, one Facebook commenter quipped after police released a mugshot of a man they are looking for who appears to have a thin head of hair
A man is wanted by cops in Sunderland, but everyone is mocking his police mugshot instead.
Northumbria Police are on the hunt for a man named as 26-year-old Bradley Finn. Finn is “wanted in connection with offences including assault and dangerous driving,” police said in a release earlier today. Cheeky commenters could not help noticing Finn appears to have a fairly thin head of hair. “Finn on top,” as one person quipped.
Northumbria Police’s Facebook post has reached more than 600 likes, comments and shares, which might help to spread the word to catch him.

“You need to issue a warrant for his barber as well,” one person added. Another said: “Storm Darragh won’t have been kind to his fringe.”
The deluge of comments included a range of creative swipes. One person even said: “He should have easily been caught, he obviously runs everywhere backwards.”
Others went for a simpler joke. “Police are combing the area,” one person wrote.
Other on the post are proving to be very popular, with some of the jokes getting dozens of likes. The quips continued to be relentlessly barbed, with another saying: “Just seen him at the airport getting on a receding airlines flight.”
Another wrote: “Northumbria Police I think you get all the mug shots of your recent criminals and pick the worst one to post!“It’s a fantastic service you offer! Absolutely howling here with some of these comments today.”
Police said Finn “has links to Sunderland, particularly in Hendon, Ryhope and Doxford Park, as well as Peterlee in Durham”.
While no one has come forward with any information about the wanted man in the Facebook comments, the viral post is guaranteed to bring exposure to the case and aid the police in their search.
Finn, or anyone who believes they have seen him, should send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media or via the report forms on their website.
The statement added: “We’d remind people that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution… have you seen Bradley Finn?
