Film critic Jeff Sneider has finally addressed the rumours about Hawk Tuah girl Haliey Welch possibly appearing in a DC Universe film, after an X post was wrongly linked to him
Rumours the ‘Hawk Tuah girl’ Haliey Welch might be joining the DC Universe have finally been addressed – and it’s bad news for anyone who likes a crossover.
Yesterday (December 11) an X post claimed DC Universe CEO James Gunn was “reportedly looking to cast Haliey Welch as a ‘major character’ in an upcoming DCU project.” The announcement was linked to film critic Jeff Sneider’s account, a public figure who has often broken film stories like casting choices.
In this instance however, Sneider said he didn’t ever make the claim and was furious with being labelled as the source. “This is a lie. Never said this,” he wrote on the platform. “This account is making this s*** up. Where are the community notes NOW, Elon? Or can anyone just put words in my mouth now?”

Those waiting for their Hawk Tuah heroine to play a DC character in an upcoming film may have to wait, with Sneider’s firm rejection of the X post pouring cold water on the claims.
Welch’s life changed in an instant in June this year following her meteoric rise to global stardom after being filmed sharing some racy bedroom advice.

Asked about the one move in bed that makes men go crazy, she uttered the now immortal words: “Oh, you gotta give him that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang.”
Speaking after her rise to fame, Haliey said: “I never could’ve dreamed that making a silly joke would lead to all of this but I’m so grateful for this blessing. I’m also grateful for all of you, yall laughed WITH me and not AT me. I can’t thank yall enough… Let’s see what happened next.”
After a rollercoaster six months, Haliey came crashing back down to earth recently after the flop of her own cryptocurrency memecoin HAWK.
