A Brazilian MMA fighter has become an overnight sensation as the one-armed warrior knocked out a two-armed opponent in the first round, with some wanting Dana White to give him a call

A one-armed fighter has rocked the MMA world with a stunning knockout

An MMA fighter has extended his winning streak to three wins with a cracking first-round knockout – and he’s only got one arm.

Marney Maxx, a mixed martial arts fighter from Brazil, secured the sixth victory in his MMA career as he beat Esterferson Da Silva in a breathtaking spectacle.

The Brazilian has a 6-4 record in MMA and has taken his consecutive win tally to three as he sent Da Silva to the canvas with a deadly right hook.

A vicious hook saw Maxx’s opponent drop to the floor

The one-armed fighter instantly got involved as he attempted to take control of his opponent who was fighting with two arms. Because Maxx can only use the power of one fist, his kicking is something that he focuses on. This was clear to see as he went straight into releasing a powerful head kick followed by a strong jab.

Maxx’s opponent did not have the fuel to fight back in the first round as the Brazilian was relentless. The referee stopped the brawl with just over a minute on the clock and Maxx stood proud, getting another victory against the odds. A victory like this was exactly what he had worked hard for.

He told MMA Fighting in 2022: “I started in kung fu and didn’t do well. I was knocked out, people would drop me, and I had a hard time breathing.

“Then I began training Muay Thai and won everything, but still wanted more.”

Fans have taken to social media to share there reactions on the fight with one fan saying: “Wow, I would have retired after getting ko like that,” and a second commented: “Sheehs that one-armed boxer is absolutely BUILT. Dude’s got nothing but pure violence in that single swing.”
