Wolves teammates Rayan Ait-Nouri and Craig Dawson were involved in an altercation at full-time of their FA Cup defeat to Ipswich, as the Molineux outfit’s week worsened

Wolves’ defender Rayan Ait-Nouri was seen being restrained by teammate Craig Dawson after a heated exchange at the end of their recent match. The incident, which saw Ait-Nouri being pushed towards the tunnel by an unimpressed Dawson, occurred amidst boos from the crowd.

This is the second time in quick succession that Wolves players have clashed, following a fiery confrontation between Mario Lemina and assistant manager Shaun Derry after a tussle with Jarrod Bowen last week. Following this incident, which occurred after the Wolves had been beaten by the Hammers, Lemina was stripped of his captaincy, reports the Mirror. Ait-Nouri lost his head at the final whistle and had to be restrained by Dawson.

Wolves are still currently in the relegation zone after a humbling defeat against Ipswich, who won 2-1 due to a goal from midfielder Jack Taylor. Their recent loss will only put more pressure on head coach Gary O’Neil.

He survived losing against West Ham at the start of the week in a highly-publicised clash which was branded ‘El Sackico’ with West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui also under pressure.
